About the Role: Medical Systems & Metrics Manager
The Medical Systems & Metrics Manager position is a senior-level role that will support DX Health Services in analyzing data from multiple sources, providing recommendations for improvements in Health Services programming and activities, and summarizing key insights for senior and executive leadership. As a critical member of our team, you will leverage your strong analytical skills, experience with healthcare systems, and knowledge of electronic medical records to drive success and inform data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data on Health program performance, workflow, and resource utilization to identify trends, predict outcomes, and make informed decisions.
- Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement, designing and implementing solutions to reduce waste, enhance productivity, and ensure quality.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and automation solutions to enhance efficiency and quality, presenting business cases with value of investment analysis to validate programming for future expansion or funding.
- Develop and present recommendations to senior and executive leadership, utilizing statistical models and data analysis from various sources.
- Lead and participate in large, complex projects to ensure business needs are met and completed within defined schedules and budgets, providing expertise in study protocol design, health status questionnaires, sample selection, and analysis.
- Conduct research to develop methodologies, instrumentation, and procedures for study design, data analysis, and presenting findings, supporting strategic initiatives for health and safety.
- Establish positive relationships with other cast members and stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement on all facets of projects through innovation and meeting timelines and benchmarks.
- Identify opportunities for improved data collection and visualization, providing mentorship and guidance to colleagues on data science methods and tools, and managing system configuration for Health Services EMRs.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 3+ years of related experience in a relevant field, with a strong analytical skillset and experience with systems and tools including MySQL, SQL, R, Python, MS Office (with a focus on Excel and Access), and other analytical and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, EpiInfo).
- Foundational skills in math and statistics, with experience in healthcare and/or electronic medical records systems.
- Ability to partner with multiple business areas, work flexibly, and meet deadlines, possessing strong communications (speaking and writing) skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar field.
Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years of related experience, with a Master's Degree in a relevant field.
