Job Summary

We're offering a unique opportunity for a L2 Application Support Technician to join our team, working in a remote environment with a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits. As a L2 Application Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing level 2 application support, monitoring and troubleshooting custom applications, system integrations, and data quality, as well as participating in after-hours support rotation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 Application Support: Act as level 2 application support for requests and issues from our facilities and offices, responding to incoming tickets, and accurately identifying, diagnosing, prioritizing, and resolving tickets within established SLA standards.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot Applications: Monitor and troubleshoot in-house custom applications, system integrations, and data quality using monitoring tools, including Azure Alerts, Azure Monitor, Azure App Insights, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Participate in After-Hours Support Rotation: Participate in an after-hours support rotation to provide support to end-users, ensuring that our applications and services are running smoothly 24/7.
  • Escalate Issues to Vendors or Internal Departments: Perform escalations to vendors or internal departments when necessary, working with the other party to resolve the issue to the end-user's satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with software engineering, product owners, vendor support teams, and our helpdesk for all support-related activities, ensuring that our applications and services meet the needs of our business and customers.
  • Support Projects and Deployments: Support projects for software upgrades and new deployments, ensuring that our applications and services are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Create and Maintain Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for standard Technical Support policies, procedures, and practices, as well as develop how-to documentation, training material, and FAQs for Ardent Mills' team members (end-users).

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • 1+ Year of Experience in IT and Technical Support: We require a minimum of 1 year of experience in Information Technology and technical support, with a strong foundation in application support and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with ITSM Tools and Processes: Experience with ITSM tools and processes, such as ServiceNow and Azure DevOps, is essential for this role.
  • Experience with Alert Monitoring and System Troubleshooting: Experience with alert monitoring and system troubleshooting, using tools such as Azure Alerts, Azure Monitor, Azure App Insights, and Azure Data Factory, is required.
  • Experience with RESTful API Integration and JSON/XML Data Formats: Experience with RESTful API integration and JSON/XML data formats is necessary for this role.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills are essential for this role, with the ability to provide exceptional support to our end-users.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Troubleshooting Software Issues: Experience with troubleshooting software issues by reviewing code is a plus.
  • Tech-Savvy and Ability to Learn New Software Quickly: Being tech-savvy and able to learn new software quickly is essential for this role.
