Job Overview and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Math Teacher/Tutor to join our team in Mesa, AZ. As a Mathnasium Math Instructor, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their math goals and develop a lifelong love for learning. Your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching students in grades K-12 using our customized learning plans and curriculum
• Assisting with homework completion and providing individualized support to students
• Collaborating with other instructors to deliver high-quality math education and ensure a cohesive learning experience
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with Mathnasium's curriculum and teaching strategies
• Working a minimum of 2 weekday shifts, with afternoons available after 3 pm during weekdays

Requirements and Qualifications

• Math proficiency up to Algebra, with proficiency through Geometry and Calculus preferred
• Exceptional score on Mathnasium's Math Literacy exam, demonstrating a strong understanding of math concepts from 2nd grade and up
• Availability for at least 2 weekday shifts, with a flexible schedule to accommodate our after-school learning program
• A clear record on a state and national background check, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students
