Experienced Bilingual Field Coordinator and Success Coach for Youth Development Program

Our Human Development & Family Science department is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Coordinator/Success Coach to join our team and contribute to the success of our UNITED WE CAN/UNIDOS SE PUEDE program.
Job Overview
We are looking for a talented and bilingual individual to fill the role of Field Coordinator/Success Coach. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for recruiting students into the program, leading group workshops with parents and youth, meeting with students weekly to bi-weekly, monitoring and motivating student progress, and maintaining detailed records of student progress. You will also work closely with the Program Coordinator and other success coaches to organize and attend monthly and weekly events and meetings, ensuring the success of the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit students into the program and lead group workshops with parents and youth
- Meet with students weekly to bi-weekly to monitor and motivate their progress
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and generate reports as required
- Assist with data collection and engage with parents and community partners
- Work closely with the Program Coordinator and other success coaches to organize and attend events and meetings
- Develop and implement strategies to promote student success and program growth
- Collaborate with other departments and organizations to achieve program goals
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of skills, experience, and personal qualities. The minimum qualifications for this position include:
- High School/GED and three years of experience working with youth and/or in a home-based education service
- Experience working with the Hispanic Community and bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (both verbal and written)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Solid organizational and leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to creatively solve problems and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive data and records
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Bachelor's degree in human development and family sciences or a related field
- Two years of experience working with youth and experience with event planning and fundraising
- Survey data collection and marketing skills, as well as other creative talents
- Necessary leadership skills to accomplish weekly success coaching inside public schools
- Ability to function as a member of a team and work collaboratively with others

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $15.00 - $18.25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We also provide a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
