Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting and contracting, to identify and isolate fluctuations resulting from over/under payment practices and incorporate these into actual-to-anticipated results.
  • Develop and maintain innovative data visualization techniques to ensure data is presented in meaningful and interpretable formats for various audience levels.
  • Design and implement analytical or statistical models and supporting tools to evaluate business processes, issues, and return on investment for products and services.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and address data and process integrity issues, providing leadership with detailed recommendations for issue resolution.
  • Develop timely, creative, and objective analyses that lead to fact-based solutions for strategic business issues, integrating remotely connected data with internal expertise.
  • Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports and presentations for projects, utilizing query-based tools to create and run queries for data mining and analytics.
  • Perform specific tasks related to compliance monitoring, including assessment of definitions, cost increment support, and organization identification.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction.
  • Work cross-functionally with peers in Sales, Finance, Regulation, Contract Optimization, and Contract Operations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Business, Actuarial Science, or Computer Science.
  • Or, a High School Diploma/GED with at least 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop procedures and project plans that meet division objectives within budget and established timelines.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality standards for service.
  • Experience developing approaches to achieving goals with minimal oversight, relying on self to resolve issues and determine when to escalate problems.
  • Strong time management skills, including prioritizing, planning, and tracking details to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues, and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve issues.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Normal functions, merging and centering cells, and creating pivot tables.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including changing picture styles, customizing animations, and setting automatic slide timings.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including adding developer tabs, creating macros, and designing table styles.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • Knowledge of advanced coding languages, such as SAS, SQL, C++, etc.
  • Experience with training, coaching, and mentoring staff.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy, pharmacy benefit management, benefit consultancy, or managed care organizations.
  • Experience working with pharmacy data at a retail pharmacy, pharmacy benefit manager, benefit consultancy, or managed care organization.
  • Knowledge of drug industry pricing.
  • Experience with project management, including planning, coordinating, and managing resources to achieve specific project objectives and goals.
  • Experience with data extraction, data mining, data acquisition, data profiling, and data warehouse management.
  • Experience in a data warehouse/business intelligence/decision support systems environment or IT experience.
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts and data mining techniques.
