Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell air travel to the traveling public or freight forwarders, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Assist with passenger check-in and load acceptance, ensuring a seamless travel experience.
- Interpret and apply authority guidelines and requirements for domestic and international travel or shipment.
- Meet and dispatch aircraft within established times, demonstrating your ability to work under pressure.
- Provide assistance to distressed passengers and customers, showcasing your empathy and problem-solving skills.
- Protect company assets and revenue, adhering to internal and external regulations and procedures.
- Ensure a safe travel experience for our customers, following safety protocols and procedures.
- Demonstrate physical capability and dexterity to perform various job-related tasks, including operating motor skills.
- Utilize organizational skills to multitask within a limited timeframe, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Respond and assist during safety and emergency situations, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
- May be required to drive and operate air stairs to various types of aircraft to enplane and deplane passengers.
- Take responsibility for overall performance in the work area, guiding and directing the work of other employees as needed.
- May be required to perform Passenger Operation Control functions, including air-to-ground communication and Tower functions.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school degree or GED equivalent.
- The ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
- Bilingual language skills may be required in certain locations.
- A valid driver's license as required by local authorities.
- The ability to satisfy FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
- The ability to secure suitable airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable.
- Flexibility to work irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A commitment to reporting to work on a regular and timely basis.
