This entry-level remote data entry position is designed to provide you with hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of data analysis, reporting, and application development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal partners and agencies to design and develop reporting solutions, analytic research, and applications that meet business needs.
  • Develop, validate, and execute complex queries, create comprehensive reports, and perform in-depth data analysis to answer business questions and inform decision-making.
  • Design and develop applications for internal clients, ensuring they meet the required specifications and are delivered on time.
  • Evaluate data needs for assigned projects, ensure data integrity and suitability, and determine data collection methods, metrics definitions, and assessment methods.
  • Transform data into actionable insights through reporting solutions, and present findings and recommendations to internal clients and stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • 2-4+ years of experience in most of the following areas:
    • Microsoft Access (manipulating forms, tables, queries, etc.)
    • Excel and Visual Basic for Applications
    • Reporting platform - SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS)
    • Development Programming Languages - ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript
    • Development Database Languages - Transact SQL
    • Database Knowledge - MS SQL Server
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, having experience in the following areas can be a significant advantage:

  • Reporting platform - WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad)
  • Knowledge of Aetna systems, databases, and underlying data structures (e.g., ACAS, HMO, HRP, etc.)
  • Database Knowledge - Hadoop, Oracle
  • Development Database Languages - Oracle PLSQL
  • Crystal Reporting experience
