Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal partners and agencies to design and develop reporting solutions, analytic research, and applications that meet business needs.
- Develop, validate, and execute complex queries, create comprehensive reports, and perform in-depth data analysis to answer business questions and inform decision-making.
- Design and develop applications for internal clients, ensuring they meet the required specifications and are delivered on time.
- Evaluate data needs for assigned projects, ensure data integrity and suitability, and determine data collection methods, metrics definitions, and assessment methods.
- Transform data into actionable insights through reporting solutions, and present findings and recommendations to internal clients and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to ensure seamless execution of projects.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- 2-4+ years of experience in most of the following areas:
- Microsoft Access (manipulating forms, tables, queries, etc.)
- Excel and Visual Basic for Applications
- Reporting platform - SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS)
- Development Programming Languages - ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript
- Development Database Languages - Transact SQL
- Database Knowledge - MS SQL Server
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, having experience in the following areas can be a significant advantage:
- Reporting platform - WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad)
- Knowledge of Aetna systems, databases, and underlying data structures (e.g., ACAS, HMO, HRP, etc.)
- Database Knowledge - Hadoop, Oracle
- Development Database Languages - Oracle PLSQL
- Crystal Reporting experience
