Health Services Consultant 2 (HSC2) Mobile Health and Outreach Team - Center for Access to Whole Person Care This is a remote/home-based, non-permanent project position that will be funded through 7/31/26 The Department of Health (DOH) works to protect and improve the health of people across Washington State. Within this mission, the Center for Access to Whole Person Care supports equitable access to the health and social care needed for all people to thrive. Our work focuses on aligning public health, healthcare, and social care systems to promote equity, strengthen the health workforce, and advance evidence-based practice. We are seeking a Health Services Consultant 2 to join the Mobile Health and Outreach Team in the Office of Healthcare Engagement and Mobilization. In this role, you’ll support mobile health operations across Washington by working directly with local health jurisdictions, community partners, and individuals receiving services. What you’ll do: • Provide customer support and manage client registration at mobile health service clinics using assigned technology. • Support clinic planning and outreach with local health jurisdictions and community-based organizations (in-person and virtual). • Assist with creating training and implementation materials for mobile service administration. • Coordinate clinic logistics, including pre-clinic confirmations, planning meetings, and post-clinic reporting. • Contribute to communication and evaluation efforts, including fact sheets, newsletters, program planning, and emergency response. Location and Flexibility This home-based position serves Washington’s entire Central/Eastern region and involves regular travel. It is anticipated that there will be 1-4 visits weekly, depending on the need for in-person mobile health clinics, outreach activities, and partnership with local health jurisdictions and community organizations. When not in the field, the incumbent completes administrative tasks from a home-based location or DOH facility. Required Qualifications (you must meet ONE of the options provided and any additional criteria listed as required): Experience defined below may have been gained through paid or unpaid activities. Please ensure any relevant experience defined below is outlined in your cover letter, resume, and/or applicant profile. • Option 1: Two (2) or more years of experience in social services, public health, public administration, or related field. Experience should include outreach, engagement, training, or consulting in a health-related field • Option 2: Bachelor’s degree or higher in social services, public health, public administration, business administration, or related field. AND: • Experience coordinating events, clinics, or services, including planning, tracking, reporting, or developing materials/training to support operations. • Customer service experience that includes managing registrations, assisting individuals, and providing support in fast-paced or community-facing settings. • Practical skills in MS Excel for spreadsheet tasks, workflow management systems, MS Word for document creation and formatting, and Microsoft Outlook or similar email systems for electronic correspondence.
