Job Overview
The Customer Onboarding Consultant is responsible for providing new and current customers with a positive and strategic deployment experience, partnering cross-functionally with internal and external departments to ensure integration objectives are completed, customer experience efforts are prioritized, and sales teams are fully supported to grow new business inside their markets. This role requires strong project management skills, effective communication, and the ability to leverage data for insights and drive improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Agreement Support: Build customer-specific content for incoming Request for Proposals (RFPs), consult with customers and National Account Managers to identify set-up needs and requirements, and develop a strategy and execution plan.
- Customer Integration: Lead A-to-Z customer integration efforts, managing tasks, performing quality checks, and updating key stakeholders, while anticipating and overcoming activation roadblocks and managing expectations as plans change and processes evolve.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Partner with 3rd Party Support Teams, Credit Teams, Pro-Solution Center, and Special-order teams to ensure set-up and integration needs are clearly defined and communicated, and with National Account Managers, Sr. National Account Managers, and Directors of National Accounts to strategize and execute agreements and deployments.
- Post-Launch Support: Identify and communicate adoption trends, provide post-launch support to clients and National Account Managers, and execute transition plans to move to full sales support by the National Account team.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education: High school diploma required, Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: At least 3 years in sales, account management, or customer onboarding, with B2B outside sales experience strongly preferred.
- Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills, ability to analyze and report data, and computer literacy with MS Office proficiency.
- Personal Qualities: Advanced organizational skills, ability to handle multiple assignments, adherence to deadlines, and strong connectivity with National Account Managers and Sales Team associates.
