About the Role
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist - Alternative Investments Reconciliation and Trade Support, you will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities for Alternative Investments. Your primary focus will be on refining exchange deal transactions in client accounts, identifying and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer representatives, and processing Corporate Activity Activities. You will also be involved in researching complex issues, testing new technology augmentations, and validating vendor changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities for Alternative Investments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in client accounts.
- Refine exchange deal transactions in client accounts, identifying and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer representatives.
- Process Corporate Activity Activities, settling and reconciling transactions, and processing dividend activity.
- Conduct research on complex and escalated issues, performing testing and validation of new technology augmentations and vendor changes.
- Evaluate and review registration arrangements, transactions requests, and client/advisor level exemptions.
- Reconcile Field, Dividend, and Move Breaks across BOS and Fund Business.
- Analyze and interpret suitable tax programming and corrections of tax coding.
- Handle internal and external system improvements or issues, providing method or technology service options to management.
- Remediate transactions issues with the Fund or Opposite Company.
- Provide exceptional customer or business partner service, answering service partner questions concerning Fund specific requirements/eligibility.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of customer trading and dividend requests.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a financial services or investment environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with internal and external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with financial systems, software, and technology, including Salesforce.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Alternative Investments, trade support, or reconciliation.
- Familiarity with TD Ameritrade systems, processes, and procedures.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, including 2340 and 15C3-3.
- Certifications in financial services or related fields (e.g., Series 7, Series 66).
