As a Customer Care Professional - Consumer Product Services, you'll be the face of American Express, interacting with our valued card members and providing personalized support to help them make the most of their membership. You'll work in a fast-paced, structured customer care environment, delivering extraordinary service on inbound calls and resolving customer inquiries with ease. Your goal will be to create positive interactions, build customer loyalty, and drive sales through consultative relationship building and tailored solutions.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service on inbound calls, following our Customer First philosophy and ensuring a positive customer experience
- Consult with card members to understand their needs and tailor unique solutions, reinforcing the benefits of card membership and providing relevant product offers
- Continuously improve key selling skills, including building rapport, understanding customer needs, handling objections, and closing sales
- Address general and account-specific customer inquiries, providing clear and concise information and updating customer account information as needed
- Use tools and resources to identify custom solutions and anticipate customer needs, maintaining a first point of contact resolution
- Meet and exceed performance goals, including customer survey results, sales rates, quality goals, compliance regulations, and productivity targets
