As a part-time sales contractor with PlateRate, you'll be responsible for:

  • Building strong, long-lasting relationships with restaurant owners and managers in your assigned territory, potentially earning you a free meal along the way!
  • Demonstrating the PlateRate solution to potential clients, showcasing its value and benefits.
  • Creating, forecasting, and managing your sales activity and pipeline to meet individual revenue targets and company goals.
  • Managing your part-time role alongside your full-time position, ensuring a seamless balance between multiple responsibilities.
  • Effectively managing your time to maximize productivity and achieve your sales objectives.
  • Entering your sales data into our corporate CRM system to ensure accurate tracking and forecasting.
  • Closing deals and driving revenue growth for PlateRate within your assigned territory.
  • Optionally maintaining relationships with clients post-sale, resulting in an increased revenue share.

Qualifications: What We're Looking For

While prior sales experience is beneficial, it's not a requirement. We're looking for individuals with:

  • A consultative, analytical, and solution-focused sales approach, with a emphasis on building long-term relationships with clients.
  • A record of meeting and exceeding targets and quotas in previous roles.
  • Hospitality experience, which is highly desirable but not essential.
  • A bachelor's degree (in progress is acceptable) or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
