About the Role
This is a call center position that requires taking inbound calls from CVS stores and pharmacy employees, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to software and hardware. As an IS Support Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing online diagnostics and case tracking systems to ensure efficient issue resolution. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, outstanding customer service abilities, and a strong commitment to delivering first-call resolutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Document problems, complete problem tickets, and request information in the support tools
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current policies, procedures, and troubleshooting techniques
- Effectively handle call workload, prioritizing tasks to meet service level agreements
- Provide outstanding customer support by analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving problems and requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment
- Utilize online knowledge articles and case tracking systems to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 6 months of technical support experience, with a focus on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving software and hardware issues
- At least 6 months of call center experience, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
- Over 2 years of customer service experience, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations
- A high school diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in technical skills and problem-solving
- Location in Texas, with the ability to work onsite at our Richardson or San Antonio hubs if required
- US authorization to work, with a commitment to adhering to NTT DATA Services' policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following skills and experience will be highly regarded:
- Competent PC skills, with proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications
- Excellent verbal and listening communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to create clear and concise documentation
- Experience working in a flexible 24/7 work environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
