Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer support via phone, chat, and/or video chat to Intuit TurboTax customers
- Assist customers with tax software product support, focusing on software navigation and locating previous tax returns and amendments
- Deliver an empathetic approach to customer interactions, leveraging critical thinking and multi-tasking capabilities
- Escalate issues to senior support agents or other teams as necessary
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and friendly tone in all customer interactions
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Sincere desire to assist customers and provide exceptional service
- Tech-savvy and avid computer user with experience with software applications
- Ability to multi-task and navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly tone and professional demeanor
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer support or a related field
- Familiarity with tax software or financial products
- Experience working in a remote or home-based environment
Technology and Equipment Requirements
To ensure success in this role, you will need to have the following technology and equipment:
- Personal computer (no tablet) with a Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system
- Broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 MBPS
- Wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet)
- Valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date
- USB headset with microphone
- A webcam will be loaned to each contractor to be used for the duration of the contract
Work Environment Requirements
To ensure a productive and professional work environment, you will need to have:
- A quiet, uninterrupted space dedicated to work
- An organized desk area with necessary equipment and supplies
- A professional appearance (if on camera)
Schedule and Compensation
This is a seasonal contract that runs through April 15th, 2024, with flexible schedule opportunities. You will have the ability to create your own schedule and work available hours between 7 am and 11 pm CST, Monday - Sunday. Compensation for this role is competitive, with the potential to earn up to $19 per hour. Contractors on this program who meet or exceed key metrics earn on average the equivalent of $16-$19/hour during peak times and $15.60-$17.50/hour during non-peak times.

Contractual Relationship
The relationship between you and Working Solutions is a contractual relationship. You will remain an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment. Working Solutions will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with Working Solutions. When you receive your contract, you will be asked to agree to have no claim against Working Solutions hereunder or otherwise for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
