Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Spanish Teacher to join our team at Southeast Middle Digital Arts Technology Academy Magnet Program. As a Spanish Teacher, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality instruction to students in grades 6-8, with a focus on developing their language skills, cultural awareness, and critical thinking abilities. This is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while still making a meaningful impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing Instruction: Develop lesson plans and deliver group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines, with a focus on engaging students and promoting academic achievement.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Current Louisiana Teacher Certification: You must hold a current teaching certification from the state of Louisiana.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Spanish is essential, with a strong understanding of language instruction and cultural competence.
• Technological Abilities: You should be proficient in the use of technology, including email, educational software, and other digital tools.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred:
