Our instructors work closely with students to create customized learning plans, provide individualized instruction, and assist with homework completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach students in grades K-12 using Mathnasium's proprietary curriculum and teaching methods
• Develop and implement customized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
• Assist students with homework completion and provide guidance on math-related topics
• Conduct assessments to identify areas where students need extra support or review
• Collaborate with other instructors to share best practices and stay updated on curriculum developments
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with industry trends

Essential Qualifications

• Strong math proficiency up to Algebra (proficiency through Geometry and Calculus is a plus)
• Exceptional score on Mathnasium's Math Literacy exam (covering material from 2nd grade and up)
• Availability to work at least 2 weekday shifts (afternoons after 3 pm)
• Clear record on state and national background checks

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring math
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with students of varying skill levels and learning styles
• Familiarity with Mathnasium's curriculum and teaching methods (or willingness to learn)
