Focus Areas in Our Data Entry Team:

Data Access Stage

Our Data Access Stage team builds and maintains a highly adaptable query interface that enables data exploration at sub-millisecond latencies. This team plays a critical role in empowering Netflix microservices to store, consume, and manage their data efficiently. We're passionate about distributed systems and are active contributors to the open-source community.

Data Stage Foundation

Our Data Stage Foundation team serves as a platform for our own data platforms. We provide a common foundation and tooling that enables Netflix to rapidly develop and deploy cutting-edge data and analytics frameworks. Our team is responsible for building high-impact frameworks, control, and deployment systems that are tailored to the needs of running our data frameworks at scale.

Data Development and Handling

Our Data Development and Handling team offers a self-service, cleared-way item that empowers diverse client personas across Netflix to meet their low-latency data development and handling needs. We're passionate about building complex, continuous structures like Kafka and Flink, and providing a diagram-driven handling experience.

Huge Data Figure

Our Huge Data Figure team is responsible for providing a cloud-native stage for distributed data handling at Netflix. This team plays a critical role in clustering data handling in Data Stage and offers support for Flash, ETL, and Druid. We're seeking exceptional talent with experience in Flash, Presto/Trino, Druid, Ice shelf, and distributed database frameworks.

Huge Data Arrangement

Our Huge Data Arrangement team offers a stage for booking, organizing, and executing large data jobs and workflows in a self-serve way. These stages include primary services that have all ETL and ML responsibilities running on Huge Data Frameworks at Netflix. We're moving towards event-driven and insightful coordination, which would require minimal client input/mediation.

About You

We're looking for experienced full-stack data entry specialists who are passionate about building large-scale, distributed systems and cloud applications. If you're excited about: * Solving real business needs at scale by applying your programming and scientific critical thinking skills * Architecting and building a robust, versatile, and highly accessible distributed foundation * Driving cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with engineers, product managers, and TPMs across teams * Contributing to open-source communities and adding to Netflix OSS

Requirements:

* 2+ years of experience in building large-scale, distributed systems or applications * Proficiency in designing and developing peaceful web services * Experience in building and working with versatile, fault-tolerant, distributed systems * Knowledge of Java or other object-oriented programming languages * Multi-threading is a challenge that you're open to handling * BS in Software Engineering or a related field
