Key Responsibilities

• Content Development: Identify, curate, and gather data given project needs, and create storyboards and develop error-free educational material in various formats (50% of the time).
• Subject Matter Expertise: Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to gather required work and assignment data (20% of the time).
• Elearning Development: Utilize standard eLearning development tools and software, such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate, to create high-quality learning content (10% of the time).
• Project Communication: Proactively communicate project and task status to client groups and management (10% of the time).
• Quality Assurance: Review and revise material against accepted The Home Depot standards for quality (10% of the time).

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in instructional design or a related field.
• A strong understanding of educational curricula and adult learning theories.
• Proficiency with software, including Microsoft Office.
• Essential knowledge of standard eLearning development tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

To stand out as a candidate, you should have:

• A formal learning degree or certification in Curriculum, Adult Learning, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Experience with photo-editing software, such as Photoshop or GIMP.
• Experience using SharePoint.
• Experience working with video creation software, such as Camtasia or Adobe Premiere Pro.
