Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Financial Reporting team, specifically supporting the DLR Revenue area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial reporting and analysis support, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) guidelines, and contributing to the implementation of new revenue recognition systems. Your expertise will be crucial in driving business growth, optimizing revenue streams, and maintaining the highest standards of financial excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the DLR Ticketing Evolution Project (TEP3) by documenting accounting requirements, developing test scripts, participating in testing, and documenting accounting procedures and controls for the new revenue recognition system.
- Provide accounting support and leadership throughout the project, ensuring all Revenue Reporting requirements and dependencies are identified and included in the detailed build of the new system.
- Assist in the ongoing maintenance of admissions revenue recognition systems, including system testing, product configuration, and variance research.
- Support data analytics and reporting associated with new revenue streams, ensuring accurate and timely financial insights for business decision-making.
- Contribute to the implementation of new revenue initiatives, including system configuration, product configuration, and testing requirements.
- Prepare P&L and Balance Sheet analysis for Segment and Corporate executives, supporting the monthly/quarterly close processes.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX guidelines, as well as various control and compliance procedures, including account reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement hierarchy maintenance, Minimal Control Standards questionnaires, and legal/statutory reporting.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, internal controls, and financial close processes. You should have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues, as well as strong writing and communication skills to effectively present information and support decision-making.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, and/or Management.
- Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial close process.
- Very strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Accountancy or MBA.
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.
- Proactive and creative in approaching problems and presenting financial data.
- Identifies process improvement opportunities and provides solutions.
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule.
- High level of proficiency with PC-based software applications, including Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint) and reporting applications. SAP system experience desired.
- Proven ability to interpret accounting guidance and apply to business scenarios to help in management decision making.
- CPA preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $103,400 to $126,200 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a bonus and/or long-term incentive units, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, financial, and other benefits.
