Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Network Engineer to join our team in Connecticut, USA. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange across our systems. Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with our Network Planners, Transport, Security Architects, and internal partners to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Develop and maintain our network standards and guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with our teams to identify and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime.
• Design, implement, and maintain network security measures to protect our systems and data from cyber threats.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new network technologies and solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
• Work closely with our vendors to evaluate and implement new technologies, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within our organization.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSCP, and IDS/IPS.
• Experience with network security measures, including firewalls, web application firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with minimal supervision and tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with:

• Experience in the media or digital content delivery industries.
• Knowledge of big business design standards, industry guidelines, and best practices.
• Experience with risk assessment strategies, policy development, job-based approval procedures, validation techniques, and security attack pathologies.
• Experience with programming languages, including Perl, Python, Ruby, Shell, C, or C++.
• Strong understanding of server, storage, desktop, security, transport, and network system technologies.
