Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze reports to identify discrepancies and determine necessary actions to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Perform first and second cycle counts to verify inventory levels and identify any discrepancies
  • Assist in cycle count reconciliation to resolve any inventory discrepancies
  • Work with other inventory specialists to verify product capacity and ensure accurate slotting
  • Investigate and research various inventory-related issues to resolve problems and improve processes
  • Meet deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks to maintain inventory management efficiency

Shift Details and Requirements

The Overnight Inventory Specialist role requires working Sunday through Thursday from 9:30 pm to 6:00 am, or until the shift is completed. To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 3+ years of related experience in inventory management or a similar field
  • Critical skills, including computer and RF skills, excellent time management skills, and the ability to multi-task and make sound decisions
  • Capable of accurate and detailed work, with a willingness to learn the system and follow processes
  • Willing to take responsibility and committed to excellence
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Inventory experience, including cycle counting, and experience operating power equipment, such as reach trucks and order pickers
  • Experience working with computer software programs, including Excel and Word

Physical Requirements

The Overnight Inventory Specialist role requires:

  • Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively throughout the course of a shift without assistance (weight varies based on product)
  • Must be able to bend, sit, stand, twist, and stoop for long periods
  • Able to walk up to 10 miles throughout the course of a shift (steps vary per shift)
