Job Overview
We have an immediate opening for a Full Stack Engineer in Atlanta, GA, to design and develop cloud-native applications, components, and enhancements with a focus on clean, highly efficient, legitimate, and fact-based code for the full technical stack. As a key member of our Agile development teams, you will follow Twelve-Factor application development principles and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, and troubleshooting new and existing software APIs and applications. We offer a flexible work arrangement, allowing you to work from home up to two days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications, components, and enhancements using Java, Python, Spring Boot, and Microservices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and maintain software APIs and applications using HTML, React JS, CSS, MySQL, and Oracle
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the codebase
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using critical thinking and analytical skills
- Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of new features and enhancements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our products and services
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
- At least five years of experience in software development or a related field
- Proficiency in Java and Github, with experience in Python, Spring Boot, and Microservices
- Experience with HTML, React JS, CSS, MySQL, and Oracle
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience in critical thinking and analysis
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Preferred Qualifications:
While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and Twelve-Factor application development principles
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and microservices architecture
- Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, and CircleCI
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
