As an Experienced Full Stack Data Engineer – Web & Cloud Application Development, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying large-scale data pipelines and applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other cloud-based technologies. Your primary responsibilities will include:- Working with stakeholders and other engineering groups to identify and scope the right data structure and generation for use to facilitate the evaluation of maximum common place Amazon customer behavioral questions.
- Partnering with partner engineering groups to enhance data infrastructure, data availability, and wide access to client insights made available via BI tools throughout the company.
- Designing, building, and implementing the right ETL methods using AWS and similar technologies.
- Implementing anomaly detection structures to have a proactive approach to any potential data quality issues, using business-preferred frameworks.
- Enabling big-scale analytics through the use of EMR and other large-data technologies.
- Establishing and implementing generation quality practices that should be followed throughout the company.
- Working on proof of concepts for the adoption of the latest technologies and tools.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of data engineering experience.
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with one or more query languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala).
- Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, KornShell).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with large data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR.
- Experience with large data processing technologies (e.g., Hadoop or Apache Spark), data warehouse technical structure, infrastructure components, ETL, and reporting/analytic tools and environments.
